Southern Family Genealogy is devoted to the families who established the areas around Orangeburgh and Greenville, South Carolina. Many of my ancestors who helped in the settlement of Greenville traveled through Virginia and North Carolina. Also, many of the Orangeburgh settlers moved westward around the 1820s to settle in Alabama and Texas.
